Who are carers

A short film to raise awareness of the support available to volunteer carers.

Carers Support Centre find that a lot of people fall into caring for loved ones and are often suffering and unaware of the support available to them. 

This film is being used by GP’s and medical professionals to raise awareness of the support available and signpost those affected to places they can receive help. 

On a small budget we were able to visit four carers and give them a chance to tell their stories. 

We are really happy with the film, and think it is really powerful. It will be perfect for our work.

Meet Phil. You might find him in funny shoes, wearing a hard hat or sporting silky lycra. Phil is what we affectionately call in the industry, a ‘bike guy’. Phil cut his teeth making films for the bicycle industry, he’s forgotten more about filming 2 wheels than most of us will ever know.

Phil brings a wealth of agency experience as a producer, camera and editor.

Alex Duncan

Filmmaker

Alex is fresh-faced from the Big Smoke. In the end, Bristol’s laid-back, coffee-sipping and cider-guzzling culture proved too much of a draw (it gets them all).
Like a clock, his last job involved a lot of Tik-Tok but he’s also a master with a good story.
Multi-talented, you’ll find him out on shoots and in the studio editing.

Adam’s our partner photographer extraordinaire. He works in editorial and commercial.

He’s a ninja on shoots, there’s not a loose flash or stray lens hood anywhere to be found.

He works seamlessly in the background with the video team until it’s his turn to step up and then captures beautiful images.
