End of Year Review 2023

What are some of Woven’s top highlights this year?

Well, hold onto your socks because here we go.

It’s been a jammed packed year of video production.

We continued working with Wales and West Utilities creating content for their suitability focus.

Alex was welcomed to the team. Hi Alex 👋

We wound back the clock for some history inspired projects for English Heritage and Historic England.

Meeting Lucie the pig 🐷 at Boscobel historic farm was a particular highlight.

As well as showcasing plenty of UK businesses we’ve been lucky enough to travel around Europe ✈️ and work with local crews.

Woven’s new brand, font and website were born.

And that wasn’t the only thing… Joel got his first taste of true sleep deprivation 👶

Our home and heart are very much in Bristol and it was lovely to create some content for local businesses.

The mud covered our hands and wellies for some volunteer filming work with Avon Needs Tress creating promotional films.

Creating employees stories for employer brand films and EVP was a huge part of the year and we collaborated with some wonderful partners including the brilliant team at That Little Agency.

It wouldn’t be a Woven shoot without some tasty food and this year was no different.

Thanks to Liam Southall for the work with Napoleon. I can still taste the lobster and champagne mac and cheese 🤤

Our sports filming work with Gloucestershire Cricket Club continued, although I’m still not sure I understand the rules.

Life jackets we’re securely fastened as we took to the rivers with schools, private parties and adrenaline seekers for ThamesJet, City Cruises and Sustainable Hive.

Then we went airborne with Cameron balloons.

We put the business hats on for UWE’s creative growth programme.

Our work with Bristol Old Vic continued with trailers and audience review for Choir boy and Arabian nights.

And we filmed some incredible shows, particularly Beacons Launch event for our friends at Limbic Cinema.
